the documentary makes me feel like i am not the only one facing this endless battle. yes, they can and do sieze social security disability and any/all tax refunds. the student loan i owe is 27k and it never goes down. it has affected nearly every area of my life. it is in default because they will not accept 200.month payments/ they want 330.month payments. hats off to applebaum! Let us pray...

There is always a solution for everybody..
Its a matter of proving your financial hardship..
Are they denying you of the $200 monthly payments?
If they are... Your not expressing your self enough...
YOU NEED TO SHOW ENOUGH EVIDENCE AND HAVE THEM DOCUMENT THAT YOUR ARE TOTALLY FINANCIALLY IN CAPABLE... in order for them to except that amount as good faith payments to get you out of default and to end your student loan headaches....
